This penthouse apartment was recently renovated by designer Donatella Mustavic in Berlin, Germany. The 2,400-square-foot apartment overlooks the popular Ludwigkirchplatz square, and a rooftop terrace offers panoramic views of the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf neighborhood.
The sixth-floor apartment’s main living area “features a ceiling height of approximately 13 feet, a fireplace and direct access to a sheltered, west-facing balcony,” the project developers said. “From the living room, a long hallway with skylights leads to the three bedrooms, and further to the staircase and the sunny rooftop terrace.”
The master bedroom has a small balcony, a walk-in closet and a full bath. A neutral color palette on a white background enhances the gallery-like feel this penthouse apartment inspires.
As if intending to redirect the focus toward the city outside, the designer opted for minimalist furniture, decor and arrangements. What are your thoughts on the design of this Berlin crib? [Photos courtesy of Donatella Mustavic]
